hopefully you have a good one, because if I have to drive all the way to CA, I will be upset at that person who told you which one to buy.

I've found at the office stores here in Dallas, no body there knows about flat staplers or that they even exist, until I show them their own catalogs, unfortunately here the only way I've found is to order online and have them delivered, they are not store stocked.

I'm with Fuzzy - get a flat clinch stapler. Mine cost $9 in Australia. Uses the same staples as others, but the jaws are different, producing a different outcome.

A regular stapler works if you just flat clinch the staples with pliers afterwards.

I picked up a flat-cinch stapler at Staples for under $10. Had to find it myself, but there it was, with the rest of the staplers. Nod gives a good suggestion, but me, I like to eliminate the extra step (just lazy, I guess). Ofice supply stores are much like electronics stores. There is no need to have a working knowledge of the products to gain employment there.

I found my max flat clinch stapler on Amazon for a very reasonable price... under $15 because it was the white color model which is less desireable I guess

I hate those dang stapled flips. You either stick yourself or you possibly scratch your coin on the staple. I much prefer the small coin envelopes.
