Is it original and if so what would it grade? Sorry about the rotated photographs.

Thanks,

I'd go strong VF on it, doesn't quite make EF but it wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

Beautiful coin! Are the white specks on the coin or on the flip?

Thanks, Just checked the white specs that are appearing in the photos are on the 2 X 2. This was one of my first large cents that I purchased when I was in my early teens. I bought this one and two others at an auction, if I remember correctly I paid $30 for the group.

Looks like about a VF-35. Just shy of an EF.

Almost - but not quite an EF, so VF30/35.

I said to myself "VF-35" when I first saw the coin. Then I saw everyone else's responses. I didn't think I could grade Large cents well; guess there might be hope for me yet!
