coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 04/26/2012 1:52 pm It looks like this coin is experiencing die flow issues. The die flow is showing on the top edges of the devices and the area between the device and the rim. The devices don't appear to be doubled. Just the die flow line on the "U" is all we are looking at. Sorry. Report this Post to the Staff

Die wear can create the appearance of doubling, but I've never seen it like this, with the lettering being thickened in such a uniform way in just one direction and the apparent separation lines.
