I took a 25 mile drive up the freeway specifically to check some banks for half dollars. It had been a couple years since I made that run so I was hoping the silver supply had been recharged. Recent reports in the JFK roll hunter thread suggest the pond has been "fished out" so I wasn't all that optimistic. Sure enough, 10 different banks yielded about $50 face value of Cu-Ni clad pieces, with just one 2008-D NIFC as a keeper. At bank number 11 however the teller had $180 worth of rolls that a customer had turned in. She said she had been trying to get rid of them for awhile and was glad to let me have them. Turns out the trip was worthwhile!

There was a total of 79 40% silver-clad halves in the rolls, plus a single 1964:

Several of the silver-clads were choice AU to BU coins with very attractive pastel toning:
