Mine is a 1936 penny. Found it coin roll hunting. In pocket change, a 1940 penny. Actually, I also found a 1931 Wheat cent in pocket change.

As a paper boy in the 70s, I got a few Edward VII quarters and dimes. I found a surprisingly good 1914 quarter in Meech Lake in around 1975. I pulled a 1934 cent from the sand in Constance Bay in 1995. My oldest find was an 1876 cent (still legible!) from under a an old verandah in downtown Ottawa in the 70s.

For fun I spent a 1943 tombac nickel a few months back...it had a hole drilled into it.

I found a 1939 Can. cent in circulation in the US. But while in Canada I think that the oldest coin I have found is a 1956 nickel.
