nice. I sent in a bunch about 2 years ago during one of their specials.
They were okay on all but the Barber $1/2's. Which were all undergraded by at least a 1/2 grade.
Since when do all letters in Liberty (one was weak) grade as a VG-8?

Very nice key date collection!
ANACS is tougher on grading than the other TPGs.

A collection of scarce and key date coins is a method which I like. I did much the same thing, sending in to ANACS just to get an authentication on the most counterfeited dates. A 1932-D quarter and a 1913-S Type II Buffalo are among my own collection. Sold off all of the rest. If I could only have ONE type coin of each design, these two were my first choice. Also have the three 1921 Walkers along with the 1938-D.
Nice little set you have there, qktbird, and thanks for sharing them with us.

Note to TreasHunt: The reverse of all the Barber designs wore quicker than the obverse. We specialists in these coins cut slack that TPG do not. Still, it is disappointing. As a collector, I pass on coins with the weaker reverse and wait until a really nice coin comes along. I have to wait a LONG time!

Nice coins. I do not know why they were graded though. I know some are key dates, but of poor quality. Despite this fact, for sure some beautiful coins. You have a good group of coins on your hands.

Some really nice coins. However, I'm not a big fan of slabbed coins so if those were mine, out of the slab and into an Album.
