Hello Friends Found this nice looking 1986D Penny.It shows some doubling in various area's.What your vote DDO or Strike Doubling?
Coppercoins.com does not show a listed 1984D DDO....

Just hang in there you will see the light here is something that helped me a lot. what you have is Machine Doubling and I have made this same mistake a few times

I have just recently found 2 1986-D D/Date PENNY exactly like yours W/DDR"IN GOD WE" is flat and some on "ONE CENT" looks like a new not item, up there with 1955&1972 double dates.

Good condition coin for an 80s cent.I have a 86D DDO that's being sent in to be graded.It is naturally toned and the doubling is on the "D" but also in "Liberty".

The glare hides Machine Doubling. It causes the flat surface to show reflective light.
