Does anyone else collect these coins or am I the only one?
Most of these coins have a great design and the $5 coins have more than an oz of silver in them.
I have only just started to collect NCLT coins and I wonder If I have strayed too far

What ever floats your boat. Whilst I may consider buying 1 or 2 with reverses that I like I probably wouldnt actively collect thrm. Although if you get them for only a small premium on spot then its a more interesting way to stack silver than ASE etc

I've got most of the State $10 ones and some of the $10 Birds of Australia ones, but it's been a while since I went looking for any more.
life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved

Yes it is a lot better than for example 100 2012 koalas.
I only get one of each at a time and they have started to become a collection of their own

I have a couple of the $10 state coins and a few of the birds and endangered animals.
these all look great in the 1oz roo book
At the same time I am not ignoring my desire to upgrade my decimal and pre decimal sets, It is just something that just appeals to me to do

Trout,

This is all I've managed to collect; not for lack of trying, I might add.

Australia 1989 $10 Kookaburra Piedfort Proof
Australia 2000 $5 Platypus Water in Lily Olympic Games Commemorative (my favorite)
Australia 2002 $5 Year of the Outback Proof
Australia 2004 $5 Bicentenary of Tasmania Proof
