Stickers and Paint = Damage
Sadly it adds no value to the coin and some poor soul was swindled when they bought it

I don't think it is junk, but it is not my cup of tea. Commercial pad printed.
Over one hundred years ago, hand enamelled Victorian British silver coins were commercially popular, and even these days, do attract some collector demand. Some of the artwork was of a high standard. The Victorian British upper crust had a penchant for things miniature.

Some people like to collect them, so it is up to you, whether you want to keep it or not.

The coin itself is not one of particular value, even without the logo. You can keep it as a novelty, you can spend it, or you can soak it in acetone to get the logo off of it. Your choice. I would probably keep that one as is, just because it is different. I have soaked the paint off an ASE before, and found a beautiful coin underneath. It is in my Dansco now, without any sign it was ever 'colorized'.

Lots of folks keep post-mint altered coins. They may have little to no value, but the "neat factor" can still be prominent, IMO. Interesting how you have this in AUSTRALIA though ! .... Look at all the collectors that collect the Lincoln Cents with counter-stamps on them. I have a few with a little picture of President Kennedy stamped onto the Cent. I have some with states stamped onto them....etc. etc. But it is still all just PMD.And there is a "colorized mania" with U.S. coins too. Although they are not generally accepted by the numismatic crowd. There are colorized Native Dollars, State and ATB Quarters, ASE's, etc., etc.. Might only be worth "face value" or "spot", but some people will always view them with the "neat factor". And they can be traded, collected, bought and sold this way. So...... I wouldn't say your Kennedy half is "junk", exactly, but it is only worth face value of .50 cents.....

If its a 2005 d thats an nifc and worth more (without paint) than a coin from the 1990s.

If this would have been a poll as what to do with that coin, the majority voted to just keep.
