Ooo, an 1818 N-10 The variety is confirmed by the massive circumferential obverse die cracks. I see luster and hints of original Red so I will go with MS63BN, maybe RB if the images are a bit darker than the actual coin.

Beautiful coin! On a bad day, AU-58. Given the luster and that there is some red remaining, I think it could get a grade around MS-63 from a TPG. It's on the line between BN and RB. It is deserving of a pool of drool! Quote: will fill the hole in my 7070 very nicely! I have been trying to find an affordable example that has luster like that or close to it for my type set.

That is one really pretty 1818 with considerable luster still intact and very cool die cracks! As for grade I am will have to say EF. To me the pic are showing slight wear over the brow and on the stars. Also wear on the leaves of the reverse. Really nice cent!

Beautiful coin - I would say AU-55 based on a little rub on the high points of the hair and brow on the obverse

AU55 RB
Certainly the obverse has more than 5% red?
EDIT: And I see wear in the hair... not that my opinion should matter much, lol

Here's an NGC 63BN of the same variety: I can't say I'm positive mine made 63 - a tad optimistic, IMO, and Chris McCawley agreed as he sold it to me for ~61 money - but sufficient differences exist to question whether strike weakness or circulation exist for your coin. AU55BN, IMO, and tantalizingly close to RB.

Your gorgeous cent is a MS63 RB in my opinion. I do not notice any wear and the coin appears to be a lustrous red brown. I'm sure that the devices would appear to be more sharp but the photographs are a smidgen blurry, making your coin appear to be an AU. Overall a lovely coin and excellent choice.
