If there is no luster then XF. Although I know some luster can be present on XF coins as well. Either way its a real nice Seated Half. Report this Post to the Staff
Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6426 Posts	Posted 02/17/2007 11:19 pm I only see a slight amount of wear on Liberty's knees and on the eagle's talons and on In God We Trust. There are no marks or hits that would bring the grade down. I'd call it at least AU-50, maybe even AU55 if it has better luster than what shows in the photos. I wonder if it has been over-dipped to the point that luster was diminished. A coin with this level of wear and original surfaces should have stronger luster. Report this Post to the Staff

I would call it obverse EF45 Reverse AU50 as the technical grade using the legitimate standards-- Photograde 1970. With that eye appeal thought, it would probably be called AU58 today.
