I finally found my first south Korean coin, a 1998 100 won, and completed my set of modern British denominations with a 1980 1/2 pence.

While leaving the local Wal-mart I stopped by the Coinstar machine. The reject bin was overloaded with coins. My largest Coinstar find to date.

5 US Quarters (clad)
7 US Dimes (clad)
27 US Nickels
21 US Lincoln Memorial & Shield Cents
1 US 1943 Steel Cent
1 Canadian $2 Toonie
3 Canadian Quarters
3 Canadian Dimes
1 Canadian Nickel
1 Mexican 5 Pesos
1 Mexican 2 Pesos
2 Mexican 1 Peso
1 Mexican 50 Centavos
1 Dominicana 1 Peso
1 Dominicana 25 Pesos

No silver in the bunch but some spendable cash. Surprised to see so much US coinage in the reject bin. Not sure why it was rejected since most of the coins look clean.

Today I found special dimes worth mentioning. One was sanded down and is basically a pr-01 or maybe fr-02. A nice damaged curiosity.
The other was a modern dime with glitter glued to the back. Fancy!

I don't know WHAT it is with Walmart coin stars being a gold mine when I'm traveling, but it happened again.

2 years ago, I found a Presidential dollar coin in the reject bin at a Walmart. Now, I'm on vacation again and came across a loaded reject bin at a different Walmart! In total, I found this:

$1.40 in U.S. Change (all modern)

2016 Canadian nickel

I guess my luck finally changed since I was generous enough to give a street magician who put on a funny show some bills!
