Hit up 2 Coinstars and the reject chute of the coin-counting machine at my bank, and nearly doubled my world coin collection recently.

Also, not pictured, were a couple flattened cents from some bait shop I think.

I saw coins in the reject slot of the coin counter at a bank as I entered the bank last night, but I wanted to do my banking first. When I was finished banking, someone was dumping coin into the machine, so I missed out, arrrghhh!

Thanks folks! Considering the 1943-S mercy and 1967 Kennedy half I've also found in the last month or so, the coinstars have been kinder to me than the coin rolls lately.

Found a dime and a cent (both modern) UNDER the coinstar at Walmart today. I also found a BU Canadian quarter and a 1998 American quarter that was as beat up as a soup sandwich in the coin return slot of the Coke machine outside. Free Money is Free Money, however great or small...OH and I found a nickel and a cent in the parking lot.

Since my last post about a silver find on August 7, My wife and I have picked up about $3.50 in common US coinage and . . .
33 pence:

35 Euro Cents:

Canadian and Miscellaneous foreign coins:

Thought that '53 Canadian nickel was cool.

Finally, two US coins to keep:
