I did at least a triple take seeing the bin full of coins.

My first finds at my local grocery Coinstar: a 2007 Canadian nickel and a 2014 American penny. The penny was suffering from terminal zinc rot and the nickel was severely damaged (deep deliberate scratches). I returned both to the tray.
But ..... Hope springs eternal.

Found the following in the reject tray of the Coinstar at the local supermarket today:

- 5 quarters
- 1 dime
- 2 pennies

All clad, but hey, it's still free money!

Cheers!

$6.06 in the reject bin tonight, including a 1951 P nickel, more than $3 in dimes (all clad), some copper cents and this!
Nice finds and a privy mark quarter! Well done

By my standards this was a good haul, in my local Sainsbury's yesterday!
Coinstar-Finds!-Including-Bank-Counters-And-Other-Machines
A 2004 Spanish 2-eurocent piece, and 82 pence in spending money. The battered condition of the 20p coin in the top left corner may be why it was rejected, but the other coins were quite normal and indeed I subsequently spent most of them in the self-service till at another supermarket...

CalzoneManiac - the older 10p was indeed 1992. The later one was 2012.
