Poll Question
As far as I know, coin dealers (including CP) usually have 15% - 25% margin on the issue price for NCLT. Currently there are 6 coins in the $20 for $20 series. Do you think that dealers also have a dealers' price lower than $20 from the mint?

Is-There-A-Dealer's-Price-Of-$20-For-$20-Series?

Poll Choices
Yes. The dealer's purchasing cost is lower than $20 from the mint.
No. The dealer's purchasing cost is euqal to $20 from the mint.
 I do not know.

Just curious, why are you concern about this?
Do you want to buy bunch of them 500 to 1000 pcs?

The fact of discount (non)existance does not depend on our opinion.
And there's no discount, at least for CanadaPost.

One of my Chinese classmate told me there is a Chinese guy on Westca can order 2 or 3 big box of the $20 for $20 coins. He must have a extreme good relationship with Mint to do that.
Maybe you can contact that guy if want to hoard a large amount.

I am asking because one coin dealer told me that he hates the $20 for $20 when he complained that his cost is $20 from the mint; therefore, I wonder it is a special case or all coin dealers have the same cost at $20 as well.

Sounds reasonable and CP keeps 20% margin in this markup.

Canada Post sells mint products for a higher price than the RCM does? That's interesting.

Australia Post is a defacto agent for the the RAM, and as far as I know, sells RAM products at RAM prices.

CP only markup this $20 for $20 seriies and have the same price as RCM for the other NCLT coins.

The fourth choice should be WHO Cares. Dealers have to make something. It either has to be through a wholesale price ( just as all other retailers) or through a mark up if paying the full mint price.

There is probably a law against the mint selling below face value.

Exactly. Why is this a poll? The answer is No.

Might as well have a poll asking if the Earth is round or if the Leafs suck. There is only one answer.

The Leafs suck.

Of course there is no discount, it is worth $20. If you sold it to the dealers for $15, then every sane dealer would buy as many as they could and cash them in.
