I picked up a few coins from my brother since he's not a collector. I have no idea about this one so I'd appreciate any advice/information.

Nice artwork on the Canadian coins.

I have a couple cents from Prince Edward Island.

Also, numismatically speaking, I do not believe Canadian coins are given enough credit to some of the extremely rare coins from north of the border.

the 88s seem to be everywhere, the one in the photo is pretty worm & could be had from a dealer bin for 25 cents to $1. still, I love large, low denomination coins.
