Hello everyone, I'm another clueless new guy on this board.
I just bought this. Thoughts?

There's no pictures of the reverse, but I'm hoping it's something worthwhile. If not, I'm only out $3.

Rest in Peace

The photo isn't very good and since there is no photo of the reverse I will guess that the coin was just a little bit misaligned, (Misaligned Die/MAD).

I have some MAD coins (not Kennedys) that I found in my change and they are fun to collect.

I don't think I would buy an error that minor, but there's no harm in it as long as you want it and enjoy having it.

By the way, when you get the coin, check to see if the reverse is normal. If it isn't, post a photo.

When you receive it check the reverse.
That will tell you if it is a MAD or off center strike.

It is at least a mis-aligned die. If the reeded edge is missing or partially missing it could be a partial collar strike or a broadstrike. Can't really tell from the pictures provided.

Thanks for the replies. When I get it, I'll definitely post some high res pictures of both sides. It should be getting here on Friday at the latest.

Alright, the coin arrived today finally.
Here are the pictures. The reverse looks normal, so I suppose it's just a MAD error.
