At the bottom of a 1978 25-cent mint bag, was this little gem. Still nice and red, probably MS-62 or MS-63 red. Made the whole rest of the bag, consisting of super baggy coins, crap grades, worth it. Very nice find! Where would someone even find a bag of 1978 quarters?

Sorry, you said a quarter was "red"?

It's a wrong planchet error. From the pictures, I think it is struck on a bronze planchet, making it red!

Remember this one? It recently came back from CCCS. It will now ride in the coin show case, waiting for the right buyer. I collect 1c errors, but to me, this is a 25c error. Not a bad find, from the bottom of a mint bag!
