But I'm only new to coin collecting so am only learning, lol. I suppose $500 was way too much, leason learnt The serial says 167.63/60208379 I wonder how I can check this? Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6396 Posts	Posted 11/19/2012 6:47 pm That's a PCGS cert number and it appears to check out on the PCGS website, as a 1722 Hibernia 1/2P, "harp left". They show it as graded MS63BN with a catalog value of $1750 USD. Previous auction sales for this coin were $1224 and $1495 so maybe that $500 AUS was well-spent after all. Presumably you could make a profit if you consigned it to Heritage for one of their auctions..... Report this Post to the Staff
