There are times I'd like to knock him silly. Not physically but if you have a cat you know what I'm talking about. One day I hear the sound of a coin landing on the tile floor followed by the sound of the same coin sliding on the tile floor. Nothing like an IHC cat toy.

Two weeks ago I posted a thread about getting 200 JFK clad halves in a Ziplock bag and was going to search them. I stopped at the bank and picked up empty rolls so as I searched them, I'd roll them. I left the rubber band secured rolls on top of the kitchen counter.

I've spent the last week trying to figure out where the empty rolls are. Something tells me that cat got them but how did he find a great place to hide them? With the rubber band they won't slide well and they are thick enough to not go under appliances. It's like he hid the empty rolls knowing it would make me crazy. Cats and coins do not mix.

My cat likes to lay across my coins when I have them out. Guess she's keeping them warm and safe for me. I don't know. check behind the couch/sofa, under the bed, and if you have an entertainment center. behind it too. They love hiding things in places like that. Anyhoo, no, you're not the only one. Lol
Rest in Peace

Could be worse. One of mine stole a silver 3 cent piece that I brought home in a little 2x3 baggie and left on an end table. That was six weeks ago and I still haven't found where he hid it.

Out cat Ashley is also called Smashly, she likes to bat things off of tables, desks, counters and especially seems to like hearing coins hit our wood floors.
Rest in Peace

those kitties are all so cute! Enjoy them while you can indeed. Bobby, your cat in the bottom pic is a 100% dead on look alike to my cat spooky when he was younger. thats awesome.
my cat whiskers likes to try to chew on pennies. I have to be very careful with my change because I'm kind of scared one day if I'm not there and he gets into some pennies he's going to try to actually swallow one or more.on a good note he doesn't any interest in any dimes or nickels at all. its something about the pennies he likes. spooky tries to lay on the piles I've coins I'm looking for to try to get me to pay attention to him instead of the coins. normally he wins. the coins will be around forever, he on the other hand sadly will not.

As I sort boxes of coins all the culls go back into the bank box. My kitten likes to lay down in the box so that I have to sneak the coins in on the side. I call him my Kitty Bank.

I have two cats, Pixie and Puck. Pixie couldn't care less. Puck loves my roll searching.

I've got a Maine coon, too jerseyben. She likes to bat coins that I drop while roll hunting under the couch. She also sits in my lap while I'm searching and sometimes tries to eat the plastic rolls. For some reason she loves plastic.
