WARNING. VERY GRAPHIC. TURN BACK NOW. Yesterday I purchased a small hoard of LWC's. In one of the 7 incomplete Whitman books there was an altered penny made to look like a 1914D. After confirming this piece of garbage to be an imposter I found it guilty and sentenced it to death. Looks about right to me. Take them out of circulation and put them out of their misery. This coin will never hurt anybody again. No genuine coins where hurt during this punishment.   |

hey mds if that is a fake coin you should have given it to the secret service and now since you have done that you have illegally altered a coin. also how caN you say lincoln was a liar and a cheat? he is the greatest president the country has ever had and if he was not president during the civil war the country would not have survived.

I think he's referring to the altered date and coin itself. I don't think anyone would disagree President Lincoln was incredible  swcoin.ecrater.com

crakowski, You, my friend, need to take a chill pill. If memory serves me correct, it was a Derringer, not an 8D nail which took out President Lincoln. Besides, I called the Secret Service and they told me to contact you. acloco, That would be an amusing Avatar. jgfindring, I won't put it on ebay but I know what my Secret Santa is getting for Christmas  . yotie, I believe this adds 8 dwt to the coin. |

Right, vermontensium. And I will add this for ckrakowski: Especially when you're trying to make a point, don't use "was" when you mean "were." (I wouldn't like it either, but someone has to tell you.)
