Reverse looks great: wreath is nice and I think numeral shows weak strike. Put the reverse at AU-58. I don't know about original luster but it looks better than any I have! D0ubl3Eagle Pillar of the Community United States 5854 Posts	Posted 12/11/2012 9:27 pm When I was looking at this coin, I was wavering between AU or MS. The coin did not seem to have any wear but the coin looked slightly "dirty" as if it had done some traveling. I guess it could be toning but I wasn't completely sure. I decided to go with a more conservative guess. The lack of details in left column and lower hair curls are a strike related issue and should not prevent it from grading MS. The luster looks a bit weak but there does not looks like there are very many marks. MS-62 looks like it could be a fair grade. Report this Post to the Staff

You're old one looks llike it may have been struck through on the weak side. Or is the planchet thinner there, might have a good variety not a lot of thin planchet hit the market labeled as such.
