Ebay.com and ebay..ca are two different entities. I do battle with ebay.com as well as .ca every day. The PNG is the ebay.com go to organization for policy. They dictate who is a reputable TPG company. No one else. The Canadian aspect is a minor issue to ebay.com. If a Canadaian coin is listed with ICCS or CCCS in the title it can be removed. Not so if listed on ebay..ca. It is a very slow process to get co-operation from different ebay organizations. If you want to list a coin in an ICCS or CCCS holder list it on ebay..ca, in US dollars, and click will ship to USA. It will then show up on ebay.com.

So what your saying M...is ebay .com does not own ebay .ca or any other eBays?

I think you are mistaking..I would think that the Owners of ebay own all rights to all eBays no matter where they are ...
If I'm wrong sorry.. But if I'm right then rules are rules..

I agree with what someone said earlier in the post..If you list them in the title on .ca then your listing is in violation with .com and they should remove it.. Those who know about the little loophole also know they are bending the rules..This also seems quite unethical on their parts...

Sorry M... but I was right also ebay Int... owns it all and the rules should apply across the board

Look at the big chain restaurants..The all follow what head office says and it should be the same here ...You know the old saying Whats good for the goose is good for the gander...

rules are rules ...

it is possible that TPGs "payed" for the "rights" to be one of the only "recognized names". competition laws in another country might prevent the same thing from happening there.

its also possible that a TPG owns, or is owned by another company that owns a large # of voting shares on ebay and they are in control of their own interests.

The rules between the different ebay domain names/countries are definitely not all the same. I have a friend in Germany and ebay.com has some rules and regulations I have never heard of before.

There is some confusion because an item listed on one domain is also able to be seen while accessing ebay from a different domain name.
