It's been 10 years now since the queens portrait has been drastically changed and I think it's maybe time for a new one? Maybe it's just me always getting tired of things fast but I wouldn't mind seeing a change. I particarly like the one used on Australian and UK coins. What do you think?

Unfortunately, I don't think our next monarch will be much prettier.

I wish we had different portraits on our NCLT as compared to our CLT.

So do I. Maybe one last revision might be in order before we move on to the next monarch.

Being born in the mid 70's, QEII has been the only monarch I have ever known in my lifetime. I've grown up seeing her image in schools, public buildings, on currency and on postage stamps. It will be strange when she's gone.

I agree with RoyalSilver,he'll choose George VII.
Meanwhile hoping the "cleaning lady" portrait can be replaced with something more regal before the end of her reign.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Charles I and II were not so successful, so he may well go with George or he may decide to be modern and ignore the past and surprise us with Charles.

Here in the UK it is probably also time for a new portrait of Lizzy,
1953-1970 (17)
1968-1984 (16)
1985-1997 (12)
1998-2013 (15)

how time passes !

I think they should use the Jubilee medal portrait. That's amazing.

re: Charles. I can't see how he can be Charles for 60 years in the age of modern communication and then change to something else.
