I was in Northern California on vacation. My brother in law asked me to go to his aunt's house, to look for buried treasure. Apparently the old girl had a habit of burying her treasure on the property. Some will say that I made this up, but a lot of this stuff is drying in my back shop right now. The silver has been moved to safe storage. The wet mess included about 150 rolls of pennies, including several rolls of steel cents, which are now rusted solid. At least two rolls of the wet stuff is Indian Head cents. The collection seems to include one full roll of each year + mint of penny, mark from the fifties on, and consolidated rolls for earlier years. For example, so far I have seen just one or two rolls marked "1914-1919" and the like. The mint sets, currency, and almost all of the silver was dry or barely damp. The wet stuff was mostly cents or nickels (from the fifties). I was shaking so hard when I dove into this stuff. My wife helped me work until 1 a.m. on Wed, then Thur I got up at 6:00 because I couldn't sleep, and dove back in. So far, 687 Franklin halves, 350 Walker halves... still digging.

Thanks to all for help getting this in the right spot. So far, silver is up to $31k, counting only Walkers, Merc dimes, Roosevelt dimes, Franklins, and Kennedys. Still to go? Buff, Barber (dimes, halves, quarters) pennies, War Nickels, etc. And foreign. Will post some more photos. Thanks again for your help.

I am not eligible to initiate a swap.
More to follow. About 40 occupation currencies (mostly Japanese) about ten rolls of steelies, rusted into blocks of steel. Ten rolls of Buffs, eight of Liberty nickels, three of SLQ. I wish it were all mine. Will post lots more pictures.
