First of all, I know you can't really see the coins that great but I'm not expert on taking photo's of them. I just wanted to show some of my coins off. I own like 60 proofs now. I need the American silver eagle proof though. I can't buy one though. I blew my money on the Kennedy's and buffalo's. Thing you will see: 1912 gold coin 1963 proof dimes (2) Seated dime3 cent(nickel) American silver eagles(5) Proof Kennedy's ( not sure how many, didn't count) 1938-D MS-65 1937 MS-64 1936 MS-64 2005 ocean view Proof-69 1883 no five cent AU-58 1993-s proof 2009-s proof 1963-s proof I put my username for safely reasons.Edited by solotime 02/23/2013 12:15 am

Nice smorgasbord of an collection, dude! I can tell that your more bias on the Kennedy. I too always admired the Kennedy half dollar. I like the "accented hair". Are you aware? I also, like the one SOLO coin of gold you have there.Very nice! -joey

Thanks guys, what you mean by accented hair?
I was just looking at my coins last night and had these one's out so I thought I would share them. I tried to take better pictures but the light just kept making them hard to see. I tried blocking some light and that seemed to work better. Perhaps, the gold coin is maybe in AU-58, but it's still a cool piece of coin to own.
I don't know if I should ask here or make a new post, but I have a 2011 blue book my dad bought me and I would like to know, does anyone collect these? Maybe I can trade for a proof coin if you pay for the shipping. It's like brand new, never used. But the back does have some missing color from when the price tag was removed. Other then that it's good.

Very nice solotime. I admit I have become more passionate about Kennedy's since last year when I starting roll hunting. I need some of the silver and non-silver proofs to finish the collection. I also want a couple of the DDOs and a "No FG" varieties I do not yet have. Also take a look at the "King of the Kennedys:" the 1998-S Silver Proof made with a Matte Finish. This is the lowest minted JFK and issued only as part of a Kennedy commemorative set. They average round 200 slabbed. And the 2012-S silver JFK proof mintage is the lowest regular issue... so we have a new key date as of this past year. Quote: accented hair in 1964 some of the proofs were made w/ a die which enhanced the heailines on JFK - hence "accented hair": Note this is not my image - I think it was off of a CCF thread (?).

Oh wow eagle, I think mine do have that :) The only reason I put the other coins inside the air-tite holders was to use them up. I didn't know what to do so I just picked random coins to use. To be honest, I always hated the Kennedy half dollar. But three years ago I was like, "hey I need one thought for my collection". So I picked two of them up from my dealer. I was feeling strange buying them at the time. So now 2013 I looked at them, I was like: "Wow these are very nice". After having that feeling they were nice I was checking the forums like I do. I saw this thread filled with photo's of Kennedy's. After seeing that I ended up with 12 new ones! I just completed buying: 1993 proofs of: Lincoln Cent, Jefferson nickel, Dime, Quarter, and the new Kennedy who came in today. I bough them for my birth-year. Just thought it was cool. Once again, thanks everyone! This is such a great site.

One of these day's I'll show my coins with much much better photo's. All my lincoln are in rolls. I also have rolls of the 2004 and 2005 nickels. I did make rolls on 1917, 1919 and 1916 acid treated buffalo's. The spots you see on the American silver eagles are there. I should have bought the Air-tite seal's early. Sadly one proof dime has a black spot. But it shouldn't spread or become bigger because I put it in the air-tite seal.
I do have a lot of Large cents. Two of them are in VF. I started liking them back in 2011 so I bought a lot off my dealer. I have a lot of buffalo's in Good and Fine. But they're not worth showing. I might just roll them up. They take up a lot of space. One roll would get rid of 40. That would really help me with clearing up some room.
@Thestew, I really like all the Kennedy's too. Just wait till you see my new nickel collection that came in on Friday
@jbuck, I will post all my ikes too. I know they will be a repeat but this time you won't see them as scanned. I did have a few you didn't see. I haven't bought a new ike for a few years! (don't be mad, lol)
Thank you guys.

Solotime, you mentioned you had a " acid treated" 1916 buff.? Is it the coveted 1916/16 (16/16 Double die) Did you know even though acid treated, one can still get a pretty penny for it! Likewise,18/17,1913s Type 2. I enjoy acid buffalos, yet many people don't care for them. I do! Congrats. on realizing you have an "Accented Hair" in your midst. Also, mentioned, the "F.G." variety is cool as well! -joey
