@SPP awesome coin! Have the complete collection myself. I consider this set a huge sleeper set, which combines the love of hockey and coins. @Panda how is this a loser coin? The mintage on this coin and set is one of the smallest by the RCM. But then again this set was release well before all these NCTL RCM coin flippers came along. Imagine this set came out In 2013, I could picture all the complaining being posted here

I didn't have any trouble getting the Canucks one last year; it was the Canadiens I was never able to find. Just got one earlier this week though to complete the set! Funny how these things work.

I imagine it was made, in reference to the NHL team... which is fine, if the context is there (note my jab at the Maple Leafs in the same thread)... Perhaps he was a Calgary Flames or Oilers fan... Without context, it could have been interpreted many ways... most of them not nice. Back to the point at hand - Clearly, the popularity of these pieces is reflected in the on-demand ordering and minting (2009 RCM Report): Montreal Canadiens: 1,226 Ottawa Senators: 310 Toronto Maple Laughs: 606 Calgary Lames: 270 Edmonton Oilers: 248 Vancouver Canucks: 318 I don't aspire to collect the entire set, but I do feel it could be a sleeper, with Edmonton and Calgary being under 300 mintage.

Quote: I do feel it could be a sleeper If the popularity of this series picks up, these could become quite expensive.
