Another new purchase. This one has mottled color on the obverse but is very well struck. The first images are from the auction. The second set of images are mine. The coin is not nearly as dark as the Heritages images suggested. What do you think PCGS said?    |

AU-63RB.....62 wouldn't surprize me. PCGS can be rough on eye appeal.

63BN. Would be VERY proud to have this in my collection though. Beard detail is superb. Small tick on the obverse below & left of Lincoln's ear....keeps me at a 63 on this one. The slightly mottled color might turned the grader off too.

Thanks Thad. My photography is hit and miss and these came out well. PCGS said MS62RB. The mottled toning and lack of luster really hit it hard. I still like it and would have gone 63 myself. Thanks for the grades and comments!  |
