I have had my "old" Coronet Head Large Cent (1818 NGC XF40 N-7) listed in "Buy It Now" since I acquired this 1837 PCGS version and wanted to see what the CCF has to say about it.

Thank you for your interest!

looks like EF40. a little too much wear on high devices to hit 45. the surfaces look great as does the color.

Every time you edit the opening post, it shows that you were the last to comment, which makes me enter to see if you revealed the price.

So, posting this one just so it won't show you as the last commenter .

That 1818 Large Cent looks like a 1837 to me.

My apologies, not meaning to tease. I struck-thru the word "have" and added "had" since the 1818 sold last night.

1837-Large-Cent---What-Do-You-Think-PCGS?

Most of the CCF replies were pretty much "spot on", which may be why CAC gave it the nod for the "green bean" since it may be closer to 45 than 40.

Her sister (same date and variety) who did not "get around" (AU) as much is on the Bay with the same die crack on the left hand side.

Thanks for playing along!

Sorry I am late to the party. I have been having connectivity issues. Great large cent!
