Nice coin I would say that your coin grades at least EF-40. Looks original and problem free

and thanks for sharing you grandfathers Morgan. While not especially valuable it is, I'm sure on par as valuable as my own 1883-O Morgan dollar. I received mine from my Grandfather in his will, I keep mine in the safe in a holder that states it was his last silver US dollar, and NOT for sale note in case I pass on. I want my sister to take it on and pass it to her son in that event, unless I end up having my own child one day. A very special dollar indeed!  "Buy the Book Before You Buy the Coin" - Aaron R. to CCF! Nice Morgan that I'm sure the true value exceeds monetary value. My first coin to kick off my 45 years of collecting was a 1927-D Peace dollar given to me by my grandmother. |

Welcome to the forum and beware the addiction. That is a nice Morgan and I'm sure it has a different kind of value to you considering it's history. Lot's of good knowledgeable people here.
