You can see that all of the open areas (fields) have a completely different and kind of polished surface when compared to the very protected letters and details.

....and the different lighting sure does give this nice cent a different look to us here.

AU Polished ......and so sad to see...

The lustre is definitely off. It could be whizzed, but my gut says polished/cleaned. Not that there is much difference either way.

poker there is a huge difference between whizzed and polished... My guess is AU at best and looks polished maybe even dipped

The reduction in value of the coin is the same in either case. The intent of those activities is the same- messing with a coin in order to make it look better to an untrained eye. Sometimes whizzing is slightly harder to detect than polishing.
