OK, when I first started gathering the Dansco albums together, I decided I wanted to do the proof albums for the moderns. When I grabbed the quarter album, I did not pay close enough attention to what I grabbed. Well, it was the non proof album. So I decided to do this one in circulated condition.

So here it is. After chasing a circulated 55D and realizing I still needed a 46S I have completed it. Some of the coins are actually too high a grade and will be moved out when I find lower replacements. The last page after the 98 P&D I filled in with random silver quarters.

All of the coins from 65 up I collected from circulation. Perhaps 10 or so of the silvers were pulled from circulation.

And here it is....

This is a very nice set you have put together. I like how they are all nice and circulated. I'm currently working on a Morgan dollar set, and the more I shop around for them the more I like them "honestly circulated".

Thanks guys. :) I think I will concentrate on the Roosevelt dimes album now. I do have the proof Quarters album to work on. But I will focus on the dimes.

I love how you kept the TPG labels... Neat collection. Wish I had the budget to do that!

Congratulations!

When I was a teenager I completed a set of Washington quarters 1932-80 in BU with all of the proof issues from 1936-42 and 1950-80 The 32-D which I bought as an MS-60 turned out to be an AU-58 when I sold the set several years later. It did look nice in that Dansco album.

1962 this took my a few years to do. Trust me, this was not a few week thing. LOL Snagging the 32 D&S for low prices took some patience and searching. As for the labels, I do that with any key dates I put in albums. Get it graded, break it out and tape the label inside the front cover. This is the inside of my Lincoln album...

Quarter-Dansco-7140-Complete!

Gyrene, THAT is going to be the final hang up for the proof album. The 32 D&S in XF or better will NOT be cheap.

That's a great set - lots of silver in there! Congratulations! The Roosevelt set should be pretty straightforward after that one.

Congrats.

I cheated and bought a complete silver set when silver hit bottom 2 months ago as I was getting tired of looking at a half empty album and didn't want to try to buy the half I needed one by one plus shipping.
