So I stopped at the speedway across from the station I work at to get gas since they actually give points for it, the cashier knew I liked coins and asked if I wanted some dollars someone had paid with the day before.
What they handed me were a pair of sealed $25 N.F. String & Son rolls. One William Henry Harrison, with obverse showing on one end and one James Madison, reverse on both ends.
Should I keep these sealed, or lump them in with the number I have for circulation?

If theyre circulated there really isn't any extra value to the roll other than if you like it. If they spent them in the roll and the coins are uncirculated protected inside the roll could have some extra value. But if they show wear its really one of those things for whatever way you like better

They were spent in the roll, and the speedway cashier didn't remove it, so the coins, save for the ones on the ends, are completely untouched.

Unopened Presidential dollar rolls appear to less available from banks now the US Mint, since 2012, is making them for purchase only at a premium from them. Banks used to be able order specific unopened rolls from the Federal Reserve and now, when the order them, what they receive will be pot luck. I have found the banks are sending more back to the Federal Reserve then they are ordering. Very few banks in my area have unopened rolls anymore, so you may want to hold on to them just a bit to see what happens.

I don't think a lot of people are collecting them. I would say keep them.

Unless they were solid rolls from the early days I would spend them. The only reason I keep these is I scored them for face and keep them as a rainy day fund.

I would keep them and forget about them for a few years. You have nothing to lose.

Taxpayers could save $700 million if dollar coins were used instead of paper dollars per the TIME magazine article. It's a shame so many people say they want government to waste less but will not use the dollar coins and want them to fade away. We are the only country left in the world using a paper one denomination. It is so wasteful!
