http://www.ebay.com/itm/200-000-uns...em41756beef4I'm just so puzzled as to a few things: a) he says he gets scoops from "the bank" (Why can't we all get scoops from the bank!?) b) The possible coins are all expensive, except Liberty nickelsc) Is it possible that this ISN'T a total rip off? And that it's actually a great investment? Maybe the CCF community should collaborate to buy it, if it's so good

Let's just say that if I had $250k to gamble, this isn't how I'd gamble it. He makes no promises regarding dates, and claims they've been counted by a commercial coin counter yet also mentions they could be in rolls or 2x2's.
Not with stolen money would I touch this.

"Morgan dollar, Half Cents, Seated and Barber quarters, and higher grade Mercury dimes, Standing quarters, Seated half dollars, old large cents, Liberty nickels, Walking Liberty halves, Franklin with Full Bell Lines, Bust Dime, Peace dollar and Seated half dime", maybe I'd just like to believe it's not all cull Liberty nickels..

I'd like to believe it's any of what you've posted.
But I don't.

Looks like the seller has several listings going. On another one of their listings it says "4 available/2 sold". I really hope that people aren't falling for this.

Yeah, the "no returns" thing has me reeling a bit. Like I said before, he is getting "scoops from the bank". If only we could get some of these coins at face value... I know they're out there somewhere :(

Why doesn't he just garner all those profits he promises for himself?

It just doesn't sound right. With that many coins, there would have to be at least $25,000 face value in silver alone. He could turn that around right away. How busy is he that he can't find the time to cash it in?

What a joke. I bet a dealer would go through all of it, document, and make an offer.

If everything else doesn't throw up a red flag is he urging people to buy it now because "it only takes one to lose out big financially," all because two people an hour are looking at it. He's trying to rush the sale.
