Ok, so I have been out of the game for a few months due to a VERY busy trimester at school. I still try and keep up by checking ebay but I just want opinions on some pricing for both buying and selling. I want to buy some of the silver myself as well as help him sell it to other buyers.

So mostly it seems to be Mercury dimes. I bought a barber half and 3 Barber dimes off of him since I didn't have any. They are very worn but I got them at a good price.

I'll list what I can remember. I'll see him again soon:

1 2011 American eagle in a case

Peace dollars

Morgan dollars, a few in nice shape, I'll probably buy one

a few dateless standing liberties

Washington silver quarters

Some V nickels, all very worn (probably a buck a piece. Those shouldn't have changed much since they aren't silver. I just know silver has been swinging that's why I want as much info as possible on the others)

That's the bulk of it. There were some more foreign coins. I deal very little in foreign coins. I've decided it's not my game. My life is too busy for the immense research. I'll look up any that look particularly valuable, but with foreign coins I often get disappointed.

As far as quantity, it fills his gallon bag about 1/3 or maybe 1/2 almost.

Thanks for any tips! You guys are always my #1 source for word on the street when it comes to coins! Thanks CCF

according to your post, there may be some confusion. V nickels are just that, nickel.

If he's got some Mexican peso coinage in that bag, look out for the brass ringed ones. The $10, $20 and $50 dated 1992-1995 have a sterling silver center.

He does have a few mexican coins! I'll be on the look out. Thanks for the heads up!

So far here's what it looks like for starting prices I've found on ebay:

Merc rolls: $95-$110
Roosie rolls: $90-$100
Morgans (common, circulated) From $20 and up
Peace dollars, circulated $15 and up
Dateless standing liberty: $4.5
Washington rolls:$150 and up

These are prices I found them at on ebay (searching sold listings)
Of course, prices go up from there. APMEX sells Washington quarter rolls for $200. Basically that makes a range of $150-$200 for those. Big span...

What do you guys pay at local coin shops?

At my local stores:

Peace are $23 and up for XF-AU common dates.
Morgans are $28-30 and up for XF-AU common dates.

I have not priced lower grade at the store.

Yeah, the Peace dollars he has aren't bad, and could sell for about that. The Morgans are pretty bad, except for two nice ones. Someone on youtube inquired about the pricing already. I've started above what I posted of course. Those were bottom prices that I wouldn't want to go under.

Here is a view of some of the coins. Sorry about some of the lighting issues:
