I have seen doubling like that myself, but mine was only light reflected.

I was referring to the tops of the 1, 9, & 5. I am not sure about what you have indicated.

The image is pixelated a lot. But looking at the overall size of the "1" it looks reduced in size, so I'm thinking it is Machine Doubling.

If it were Die Deterioration, the other devices would also show die wear stronger closer to the rim.
