Bought a couple of these as they were on offer at a really cheap price. I actually only wanted one but after seeing they were very different (and they were a bargain), I decided to get them both. (the joys of varieties) Denomination: 1/8 tical. This is a uniface coin. Looked it up on the internet and there's just so many varieties of this particular type of coin. Maybe you have one of this funky coin?

gxseries, That's very interesting, I looked in the catalogue and realised I have one of those, KM7, a half fuang.
I thought it was a button and it's sitting in a button jar somewhere but unfortunately I don't know where !
How much did you pay for yours ?

I acquired one of those a few years ago, and is in fact, the only coin I have from Cambodia. Steve

Pertinax, I think I paid less than 10 dollars each including shipping.
It's a billion meaning that it's a low silver content alloy but still - quite neat. I'm not too sure if these even circulated. I'm quite amazed over the varieties out there.

They are interesting coins - and I've never really seen them worn. I have a couple - almost exactly the same weight so their quality control was pretty good

Here are two coins I recently received. I bought both of my coins from Scott Seman's website. I thought they were a reasonable price, and I really don't know where else I'll see them offered. I had to get the lower quality coins to fit my budget. These are some tiny coins--too small to take good pictures of. The ones with dark background are from the digicam and white background are from the scanner. First is a 'Hamsa Pe' from 1600-1870. It is listed as K31a.2: Second is a 'Hamsa (Praq) Pe' from 1870-1900, listed as K11a: -wheatiefan

Someone showed me a few of these over the weekend at a show, including one that was apparently an overstrike of an another piece... normal strike on one side, smooshed remants of another design on the "blank" side.
