Seeing as Shaft has resurrected this post, I will post a few newer pics with the digital microscope. I still prefer the full still digital camera (Nikon) pics the best for colour and more natural looking pics of these coins..
Probably a lot more pixels to start off with the Nikon D80 and it's macro lens.
I now feel that shooting through the 2 sheets of plastic also distorts parts of the these posted coins. It will be interesting to see how the pics look without any plastic reflecting back at the lens.
