I recently picked up a PCGS certified 1907 25 cents. It is quite toned. I was wondering about opinions of grade by Canadian standards. Thanks for your input.

Good EF, tiny amount of wear on the high points, somewhat hidden by the toning.
The band of the orb on top of the crown and King's eyebrow are quite sensitive to wear on most British Commonwealth coins. Tiny bit of wear in these places.
The King's beard, moustache, and hair is also a bit dull, but that can be due to a slightly weak strike or worn dies, so I am usually not so critical in this area.

Hard to tell what's on the plastic and if there's wear... I don't see much... it's AU, but those rims look sharp... it could be MS... love to see this in person.

Not the greatest pics, could be wear, but likely typical weakly struck MS63
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning... -from PCGS website

Wow...All the way from 45 to 63...Quite a spread there.... My best "guesstimate" would be ICCS 58 to PCGS 62. .. Do we call all of the light spots in the toning on the Obverse "cabinet friction"..? Some possible contact on the high point of the beard and robe and up to the Orb also,... .. and as said before ..the rims are very sharp and unmarked.....Great coin..!!

Way too much wear for this coin to be MS. I've been wrong before, but I can't see this going higher than ICCS AU-50.

Thanks for your replies. This is the holder: I bid on the basis that it was somewhere around an AU-50 by Canadian standards. In hand, looks better than my photo.

Anyone who is serious about the Edward VII series, knows very much how weak strikes play a difficult part in collecting and grading this series. Only DBM mentioned the weak strike. I thought it was a really nice AU. Obviously, the toning and eye-appeal got it the 'plus' grade (I have never seen a plus grade assigned to a Canadian coin that was not mint state).
Nice coin. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful coin! That's the first non MS plus grade I've seen on a Canadian coin from PCGS either
