GREATER NEWS THIS TIME FELLAS ! I just gave a statement today at the PD and yesterday a search warrant was executed by SS, local, and state police and can you believe it that it made local news LOL here's the link to it - I CANNOT believe it's come this far and has gotten to this point http://www.wtnh.com/news/new-haven-...-hamden-homethey found a whole workshop and assembly line that this guys had going faking GSAs - unreal the agents I'm working with told me that they're going to be making an arrest in the next few days and that there's a good chance I will receive some restitution for the crime!!! WOW! The detective said that it is more likely to find a gold bar on the street than cases like mine seeing this kind of result! From the start I've just left this in God's hands and prayed that I would get my money back and this guy would be stopped and my prayers have been answered - THANK YOU JESUS :D I'll keep you all posted as things progress but this is VERY significant! |

You have done numismatics an invaluable service, razzy. I don't know your personal habits, but if it were me I'd take a moment to sit down with a glass of Zinfandel and quietly contemplate the feeling of having done something genuinely good.

Very cool how it went from the local police saying that there's nothing you can do...to THIS!
But I guess the next step for the counterfeiters is to(deleted sentence)...

Awesome! Great job and great news indeed! I wonder how long this guys been doing it? And as always keep us posted, let us know when hes arrested! I'm curious as to what the penelty will be aside of paying people back.

thank you all for your support and kind words - I wanted to pursue it but the credit really goes to God for allowing this to be uncovered and to the two agents that were working with me on this from the start to put the pieces together - one from SS and the other from the town PD in which the crime took place
its really a miracle and a testimony to God's faithfulness - this guy was scamming a LOT of people and now thankfully he's being stopped :D
i am thrilled and even if I don't get a dollar back (though not likely from what I hear) I would be VERY pleased to know these crimes are being put to a stop in my area
this will likely be a big warning to others who consider such evil to not even try it
and dave - zinfandel is my favorite as well !
i will post back as soon as he's arrested and then give you all news on the court case as well - this is so great!

Outstanding follow up and persistence Razzy! I hope you eventually get your money back. If you never get it back though at least you have the satisfaction of knowing that you made a difference and that's a good thing to have!
