Hmm if there's one thing I've learnt about these is that; grade these coin, then add 10 points. I'll go MS-63. I one saw one of that I thought I was VF-30 but was graded AU-55 :O

Tremendous piece of USA history.  it gives me chills just imagining how this coin came to be ... such is the power of early California gold ... Wild guess ... AU53 .. Whatever it grades ... lovely example of the USA coinage history.  David

I haven't seen too many of these but I'll give it a shot. I going to guess MS-62. Neat piece from the gold rush era!

I am glad PCGS graded it. I can't pick the fakes with these. Like the others, I am forced to guess. AU53.
