Is that area raised by E of LIBERTY?
Not sure if we are looking at PMD, die chip, or strike through. Looks like it extends through feathers, down to ribbon.

VF Details here also, usaully I avoid these looking like this,
present day but really don't think you will have any problem
moving it for that price. If you have a bathroom with a windowsill,
lay it on a napkin there for a few months, then flip it over for
a few more months. Then take a pic and show us. Guarantee different story..
They all looked like this coming out of someones' pocket once..

I see that mark extending from the feathers into the fields...so I'm going to hold out hope it may be a strike or planchet defect. I don't think you did too bad for that $24.
