This came in the mail yesterday, courtesy of ebay (I probably paid a bit more than it was "worth" but I wanted the coin and I didn't mind spending the money for it.) It is lightly circulated but in overall good shape. The Walking Liberty design is really a beautiful coin. And it's silver! I showed it to my boss this morning and she just kept staring at it and saying how pretty it was. Man, I miss the Liberty coins. The current coins are OK (except for the butt-ugly nickel) but the coins from the first half of the 20th century were absolutely gorgeous. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

GREAT addition! I too love the design on this coin and hope to get more heavily involved in putting a set together someday.

Nice Walker! I have to agree with you on the designs circa say 1916. Sure would be nice to see a silver commemorative set dated 2016 and while I'm babbling about it, throw in a 1 ounce 2016 Peace dollar.

That is a nice Walker! The coin designs of today with all the presidents heads are so boring and unattractive compared to the earlier designs.

Very nice! I picked up my first WLH a couple months ago at an antique shop, a 1942 in about the same condition! Mine is maybe slightly less circulated. I've also picked up a 1918 which is pretty heavily circulated but still has nice detail. Other dates I'll be looking to add in the short term are 1928 and 1935, and I will then have all of my grandparents birth years represented. I've also done this already with my parents birth years of 1960 and 62 with Franklins.

I did receive the Walking Liberty Halfs I ordered the other day. That certainly are not as nice as the one you got but I get 4 of them, 2 1945s, 1 1927 and a 1940s. Not bad but one was cleaned and the others pretty worn but still they are my first walking halfs do I'm happy.
