I have a 1999 $1 bill serial number, 00000303*. The bill has a slight bend down the middle, but other then that is in quite good shape, and is still quite crisp. I have tried on 2 other forums to find what the value of this bill might be, so all answers and general info are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance, e.

Just my opinion but a 3 digit 1$ with a verticle fold would only be worth a few bucks over face value unless it was needed by a collector of that specific serial number. So, I'd estimate it at 5 to 10 bucks.

That's a run size of 640,000. I would say it is worth more than 5 to 10 bucks. These surprise you.

It's worth whatever someone that wants it will pay for it. You can always list it on one of the online auction sites and see what happens. If you like it then keep it. If you don't want it, then sell it. I still think its worth 5 to 10$.

The fact that it's a low serial number, in good condition and a star note certainly makes it worth much more than $5-10 to me. And, I suspect to many others. It's obviously only worth $5-10 to westernsky, but I would guess you could easily get $20 or more for it easily.

I'd say you'd have no problem getting at least $20 for it.. If not more. If you do throw it on ebay let us know what it fetches, I for one would like to see what it gets to..

Wow, I'm shocked by all the replies this got in one day. Thanks for all of you who gave there input, and thank you for everyone of you actually answering my question. All the other forums I would get maybe one answer a day and out of all 11 or so replies I got, not even one answered my question. You guys put this forum to the top of my list when it comes to currency.

There is a fold down the middle from someone either putting it in their wallet, or from someone who folded it and put it in their pocket. The case I have it in is deceiving, the bill is definitely in good shape, but the glare from the case its in makes it look almost near uncirculated which I personally do not think it is. I really do not know how to grade tho so I could be wrong. Other then that fold, one or two of the corners could probably be more sharp but that's it as far as I remember. I'll take the bill out of the case and take pictures of it then post them so you guys could give your opinions of its grade.

Also, I want to put The pic of my bill as my avatar, but when I go to select avatar it only shows me a list of avatars to select from, is there no way to upload my own?
I use my phone to do everything on the internet btw, dk if that would have anything to do with it.

Nothing to do with it. I'm almost exclusively on my phone.
I'll let our forum mom know :)
