Sweet... My 1000'th post!!
Wow... It seems to have gone by pretty quick!
I'd like to thank everyone here, for kind words, great advise, honest opinions, for somewhere to "talk coins" (since basically everyone I know gets that glazed look when I talk about my coins) and for somewhere to share the happenings in my life! As well as getting to drool over some of your acquisitions! Always good to gawk at some gorgeous eye candy!

Most of all, a huge thanks to evryone for all the information I've learned, and continue to learn daily. I have much more confidence in myself when it comes to buying now, both in grading (IE what to pay), finding deals as well as detecting problem coins. I've come quite a ways in the series I collect most, especially Morgan's, and feel quite confident in my ability to know the grade, hunt for coins I absolutely love,
VAM, and most importantly buy smart!
I haven't been able to post as much as usual lately... I've been a bit coin deprived... We bought our first home in the late summer so doing small things around here we've wanted have depleted my coin fund... And having the new baby (Oct 25'th) takes a bit of time, especially with a 20 month old running around as well.. Uuugh... Soooo tired... But I wouldn't change it for anything! There both great kids. I've been having coin withdrawals... Seriously... Lol.
But I've done a few trades with fellow members that were awesome, I've yet to post those acquisitions, one in particular as I was hoping to be able to get the other 2 coins for the complete 3 coin set..
Well... that times come!!

I hit a scratch ticket I randomly bought the other day for $500

so I got to finally pick up those two coins as well as a couple others I'd wanted.. So I guess I'll spice up this post with some

eye candy of my own!!
2011 Army proofs: $5, $1 & $.50
I got the $5 gold in a trade from another member (thanks again!) and for the dollar and half off
ebay for a great price! I was bidding on a few and they went over what I wanted to pay by quite a bit... Then I found these with a best offer option and sent an offer on both I figured would be refused.... But low and behold luck was still with me. Kinda funny actually as I had just watched the hammer drop on the bunch I was watching/bidding on, all for around $20 more than I paid (each). I done good...
All are at least PR-69, the gold has a tiny pin jerk size "mark", but I think it may just be fuzz inside the capsule... That would be the only reason that one possibly wouldn't get a 70... The dollar and half look like 70's to me.. Even with my USB scope I can't see the slightest mark... But I know how the
TPG'ers are with 70's... But I don't really care... There perfect to me and that all that matters!

(The optimizer WILL NOT allow me to post the dollar reverse or either close up of the half

I've literally been trying for 2 days and no matter how low I drop the quality/size it just keeps saying there too big

.. I give up)
And I also got the 1993 Proof (1991-1995) D-day 2 coin set, dollar and half (both in the single case). Also got these for a great price on the bay... Another offer surprisingly accepted, and also a great shot at 70 for these two...

And finally I also got a 2012
ASE proof for my daughters birth year bullion set... (This one was also from the same trade as the $5 gold)
