BadThad - She's still a beauty. I have a 1999 & 2000 ASE with the colorized decal. Over time they have yellowed and I like them less and less. I'm thinking about using acetone to remove the decals and bringing the ASE back from their ugliness. |

This one has everything - made of zinc (Ugh!) and issued by a monstrous regime in 1940 while that regime was shelling and bombing the citizens of my country!  |

...I have a pile of fake bullet coins. I keep them on my mantle so that they remind me daily that the world isn't all roses and where there are no common interests, there is no basis for trust.

Here we have one of my earliest purchases. A privately minted gold coin. A coin that weighs about 0.5 grams and is made out of 9ct gold which I paid £30 for. I bought it during the early days of the hobby when I thought the idea of a gold coin for just £30 sounded great. I did not imagine the coin would be this small:  |

Well, I'm not awfully fond of this one ...  Rare? Yup. But the days when I wanted to fill every gap whatever the condition have now long gone. To be honest I'd much rather have a common coin, but in uncommon(ly good) condition than a banged up rarity any day. Though it took a few years to realise this! |
