Could be AU 55 or Unc ,...but the black area is exactly what helps us grade it... Could also be lacquered..

Has lots of luster but with a lack of proper pictures I'd take a guess at MS-62. Could up or down really, There's a very fine line between MS and AU-58 but because of the lack of marks I'd say it could go all the way up to MS64RD.

Take the coin out of the 2x2 and more light will tell us better..

I found one of different date but same type in the same in a dealer's junk box recently. Condition MS60 red. Would have been a 64, except for a tiny scratch, only visible with a 10 x loupe.
The price: ONE whole dollar!
