Just a honest mistake. People like that are hard to come across these days and when it comes to money people will do anything to get it. He was honest on his mistake and gave you a refund plus extra in my mind on a big site like this one that's free advertisement for a good honest business. I would buy from him

The seller has over 100,000 feedbacks and sells a lot of stuff. Give him a break, mistakes are bound to happen and he seems to be taking care of you.

I've dealt with Bobby both through ebay and his web site and have found him an excellent dealer, with courteous and helpful email conversations. I would have to recommend Coins by Bobby highly!

I have, so far, spent a couple of hundred dollars on coins from him, all delivered on time, all exactly as described. I give him the benefit of the doubt and let it go. How many sellers give you money back +10%? None that I ever heard of.

I have to agree with just about everyone else. It seems the seller made an honest mistake and went above and beyond to rectify the situation.
Mistakes are bound to happen with high volume dealers

It's interesting how fast we are to criticize a seller, yet if we were selling we'd want our buyer too be understanding. We are sometimes too quick to jump to negative conclusions. I think it's going beyond good service to gave a 10% bonus. I think on the odd occasion I can't send a coin I will do the same. Many times as a buyer, I only ever get the standard excuse and apology. I think I'll have to look at this sellers stock. Sometimes we need the look at the situation from the others perspective. All of today's scams have made us way too over cautious. Where we can read too much into a situation.

Why do people always bash sellers? How about the 5 unpaid items I had last month from deadbeat buyers. Mistakes are made and the guy made good plus 10% what more can you ask for.

It looks like that item is up for $1 more than it was originally purchased for... Seems like the extra 10% would cover just buying it again...

I think this seller's reputation is better now than before the thread started (exact opposite of the OPs initial intentions?) maybe Bobby should send him another 10% as a commission for all the extra business this topic is going to get him

Sellers like this seem rare to me and I would praise him as well. One guy forgot to ship me something (he was in his 70s) and after I reminded him, he tossed in a bonus coin. Wish I could remember which seller. Too many bad stories from ebay and it's nice to read good ones.

I have purchased many items from Bobby, both on ebay and his own website. When I received something not as described exactly, he sent me another and didn't ask for the other item back. Told me to keep it. Just a little disappointed that his own website doesn't have any inventory anymore. I had a stack of Bobby Bucks that I was going to spend and can't. :(
