I saw this coin on ebay one night and immediately thought I could fix it. It was a bin at 29 bucks, free ship. Now if I can bring this back it's a nice win. Even if I can't it's still not a bad price. I just got done soaking it and all the glue came off but underneath was a bit of corrosion that looks suspiciously like the glue was strategically placed on top of, lol. It's still not a bad coin but not the win I was hoping for. Ahhh well...before and after  ...   Oregon coin geek.....*** GO BEAVS ! ! ! ***

Looks EF and you could still easily flip it for a profit. The corrosion isn't bad at all.

I'd keep soaking it in acetone. Take a q-tip and rub it on those black spots.

No. A q-tip rub while it is soaking in acetone should not have any adverse impact.
