I got some problems with it. Several things raise red flags in my mind: -- the curve of the clip appears to be the wrong radius -- the clip seems to be rather ragged/uneven -- the Blakesley Effect doesn't look right
These observations are strictly from experience albeit limited. Hopefully a more experienced error collector will stop by and render a more expert opinion.

I was gonna say the front Blakesly Effect looks odd to me too....maybe just the circulation marks. Does the top of the "O" on the reverse look funny too? Maybe I am just over analyzing

Clearer images of the devices on the clipped areas might help. The letters on the reverse should weaken as they get to the clipped area. They appear to be strong in the image provided. It may have been a straight clip, but the images on the obverse doesn't show clearly the edges of where the rim is formed. So I'm not sure either way on this one yet.

Thats a tough one, I agree with what coop said. To be honest it looks like PMD at this point.

The Blakesley Effect does look a bit hammered.

Wow. I thought this was a sure thing. looked like blakesly effect directly opposite. I will get better pics back up and repost. I was in hurry and figured it was a slam dunk so when the pics weren't the best (and I was at work and not on my mac to clean up the photos) I just posted them.

Clips usually aren't worth much, so why try to fake it. The coins circulated, it's got PMD on the clip, so I'm going to say from the photos it's a real clip.

Blow the pic of the reverse up and you'll see hammer marks quite clearly where the Blakesly effect should be. At least that's what it looks like to me.

I think the same way Albertharris did - why try and fake a clip. its worth 5$ at the most.
That being said, I am obviously deferring to all experts on this and am uploading 5 new pics. check top of post. I added them there.

With the new pics I am on the fence now. The edge looks all wrong but the O in ONE looks weaker closer to the clip so.. John1

But why bother (rhetorical question)? It's not worth the effort. And this was found from a garage sale lot - so if it was faked it was done years ago I would think. I guess the jury is still out.
